    I, Veerendra MK customer of Hathway Cable TV Connection. I took a new connection with the Hathway, Shamlal Building Begumpet, Hyderabad on April 2016, and all of sudden I had to vacate my house and shift to Vishnupuri, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad.

    I paid rupees of Rs 750 (Seven Hundred and fifty rupees) in the month of April 2016 for set-top box and cable connection and I returned my old set-top box, which I had been using earlier. I used the New Hathway connection for the month of April and May, and thereafter I shifted my house to Malkajgiri in May ending. In June, I took new Hathway connection in Sai Ram Hatway, Malkajgiri and paid again Rs. 450 (Four Hundred and Fifty rupees) only for connection, whereas the wire was already there in the house where I shifted and I had my set-top box. After one week, my cable connection got disconnected and it was showing unauthorized. I complained the same to Sai Ram Hathway, Malkajgiri office, they took the box and kept it with them for two weeks and told me that, it cannot be fixed here, you have to go to Begumpet office (where I was residing previously) and fix it there. I called up the Begumpet Office and told them my story. They in reply told me that, no sir we cannot do that and you don’t even have any pending payments also, you contact SaiRam Hathway Malkajgiri office only. Again I called up Sai Ram Hathway office, they again came back and took the box for the second time and kept it with them for about 10 days and after 10 days when I called them, they told me that this box cannot be fixed, you have to go to the HEAD OFFICE. I want the connection to be fixed as soon as possible.

      I H S GURUPRASAD in Bangalore renewed hathway broadband after i got 10 massages stating that i have offer of pay 3 months & get 1 month free for Rs 2805 ,before paying i en quired 3 times about this offer Hathway people guaranteed about this offer so i proceeded & paid the amount and got receipt for( 3 months + 1 month) on July 15 2016, but they started calling from 5th October it self telling that my Internet period will expire on 15th oct 2016 but I explained about the offer & my internet period will expire on 15 November 2016 according to the offer they gave to me to more the 30 calls i received & they agreed that 1 month i will get extra but hathway disabled my internet on 15 oct 2016 . they are calling daily 5 times about renewal they have cheated , betrayed the customer i have the the receipt & massage about their offer i have no other go but to go to consumer court. A BIG CHEATING & FRAUD

    I stopped using hathway broadband service at the end of July. I got calls from multiple people regarding renewal of the plan but I told them clearly that I want to discontinue this service because of pathetic service and casual behaviour of your customer care towards our problem. I told them to remove the cable from our house still noone came. The last conversation I had was in 1st week of August.
    Now I got a bill for account number 1109648491 charging me a total of Rs. 2240.49
    I want a clear reply from you regarding this.
    Also take this message as a written copy of the termination once again

My account number is 1256409,we staying in S Unique Appartment,16-2-751/A/71.Plot No 202.Karanbagh,saidabad.Hyderabad.59.since 15 to 20 days we are struggling with Hathway internet connection.when ever we asked about the problem,there is no from disconnected and it’s very slow .If we , ask them ,there is no good response from them and saying work is going on and it takes 6hrs time.like this they are giving answer every day.si fed up with this Hathway internet connection and we would like to remove this such type connection.cheating people is a bad habit in our city.

    This is also to inform you that we are paying for no use of the connection for period of last 2 weeks or even more.
    such kind of worst service was not expected from Hathway. if this issue is not resolved i think i should go for another service provider.You are therefore requested to please take necessary action and solve to help us get proper service of the same.

    Hii this is Akash. I was using the cable service since last month. Then i shifted to a new place which is very near to the place where i used the cable sevice. I called up the customer care about the shifting my cable comnection to the new place. She just rudely answered that my cable connection cannot be shifted to new place and she just hanged up the phone on my face. It was never expected from hathway customer care. I called up once again and i insisted that i want to talk to the team leader. He was also speakimg the same thing and he was also more rude than before. From today onwards i will never use hathway digital cable tv services and intimate my friends and relatives also that not to use the particular aervice sevice on future.

      I was using Hathway Internet.
      Since I shifted my place of residence, I informed Hathway team by mail & returned the devices like Router, wi-fi etc after clearing all the payments.
      Hathway team is sincerely sending so many SMS & mails for the payment even after 2 months cancelling their service.
      I informed them over phone & send so many mails also to stop sending info regarding pending payments since I am not using their service & returned the devices & shifted. Now they stopped picking my phone also. Very rude & don’t care approach of Hathway Team definitely make their customers UNHAPPY.
      Hope they need to train how to use communication devices (like e-mails). They don’t want to care even the customer is alive (using their service) or not ….. just wants to irritate the customer s. Hope they don’t have any method of checking whether the client using their service or not. Once became customer, they like to send bills till the end of customer life (whether the customer is using their service or not).

    i am quite disgusted with the kind of services you are providing in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. I have been a Network Engineer myself and i do not understand y you require a month to provision a Network connection in an area where you already have other connections.
    Also, once the payment is made, your reps do not answer the calls. I need to understand if you have reps from a particular royal family background as such or if we need to take prior appointment from them.
    I apologize as i am not using “profane” language here as i am aware that children now a days have access to almost everything on internet… but rest assured my please do read my words between the lines.

    my issue now:

    i had made a payment on 12th September against getting a new broadband connection at my office in Aurangabad which was to be delivered within 4-5 working days.
    today is the 12th October (gosh, 1 month).. no delivery yet. Who is going to pay for the business loss incurred by me in these days?? please ask one of your royal turd to get back to me on +9960523863 ASAP.

    Hope this doesnt fall on deaf ears again.

Sir I prashant bhatee have been your old custmor for the last 8 years but I am not satisfy with my cable operator service I paid him rs.350 to increase some channels of holliwood in dated 09-10-2016 but he did not notice upto now. He always harasses us. I have complained many times to him but vain. I live in B 192 Pajapat nagar Indore .

  8. DO NOT TRUST HATWAY . THEY ARE CHEATERS FRAUD . THESE LOOTERS FORCED US TO TAKE THEIR BOGUS SERVICE FOR THREE MONTHS IN SPITE OF ME INSISTING ON ONE MONTH . AND AFTER TAKING THE SERVICE THE NETWORK WAS DOWN ALL THE TIME . THE SPEED IS NOT PROVIDED WHAT IS ADVERTISED . AND NOW WHEN SHIFTING THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO PAY BACK THE AMOUNT I PAID BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE SERVICE IN THE NEW LOCATION . VERY BAD SERVICE AND THAT TOO THE CUSTOMER CARE IS NOT TOLL FREE AND HAVE TO WASTE ALL CALLS ON THOSE IDIOTS . NEVER TRUST HATWAY .

I have requested for the new internet connection in Pune, and the hathway service provider checked the connection place and everything in my home, and took Rs 4020/- in advance for the connection and told me that wiring will be done tomorrow. Now its been 2 days no wiring staff reached and no one from office picking up the calls from past 2 days. I dont know what to do, he didnt gave me the receipt of the amount he took from me.

    I would to bring to your notice the my account number for which I made the payment for 750 in the end of September and since then I am looking forward to get that amount reflected on my account but it’s not getting reflected and when today I tried to make the payment for my account it’s showing me the due of 734.

    Despite of giving the details to the several customer service representative’s the issue is not yet resloved. I am also attaching the resent service number below which has been closed without any update and the resolution.

  13. Dear Hathway employee,

    I have requested for a Hathway Broad band connection on 7Nov16 and surprisingly, I have received a call from one of your agents (Venkat) in half an hour time. Being impressed by the quick response and also, upon his word that the Hathway services have improved in time, i have paid him an amount of 2250 rupees by cheque on 8Nov16. I got my connection on 9Nov16 by 4:00PM. But, i have started facing issues with the connection from 10Nov16. I have informed the agent and he promised me that the problem will be rectified immediately. But even after 4 days, it was not rectified. So, I have called up the customer care on 14Nov16 and have informed your customer care executive about the problem and he promised me for a quick action on the issue. But surprisingly, the ticket was automatically closed in one hour time and the problem still persisted. Again, I have called back on 15Nov16 and till date the problem has not been rectified. So, i have called up the agent (Venkat) who provided me with the connection and informed him the same, But he did not take any actions. I Have also called up other agent who is supposed to be the in-charge of the area i reside in and even he did not respond to the issue. Fed up with the “N” number of calls to your customer care and the agents who did not care to respond, i have decided to ask for a discontinuation of the internet and for a reimbursement of my amount.

    Upon calling the agents again on 17 Nov 16 and informing regarding the problem and asking him for my money, his reply was quite shocking. His rude arguments and he complaining me back saying that i have to inform him about the problem first and not the customer care, i fallen into the conclusion that there will not be any response from these agents. Again, when i made a call this morning (18 Nov 16), he asked me to talk to his “Team leader” and gave me an other number. When i spoke to that person, he reply really made me fall into the conclusion that Hathway is not something i have to ever use. He literally said, “Go do whatever you want to, complaint whoever you want to, i don’t care and i will not do anything regarding your issue”. Also, his rude behavior and response really annoyed me.

    As a customer and as a person who is paying the amount, i do not have to deal with these nut heads. I really hate my decision of changing the internet services from ACT Fiber to Hathway. I am writing you this email to inform you that I expect you to reimburse me late by 19 Nov 16 or i will go to the Consumer forum regarding this issue and also notify this problem to TRAI. I am highly unpleased with the way your agents have responded and also with your services. I have opted your internet services in order to prepare for my coming SSC tier 2 exam, if something goes wrong with the result, you will be blamed as you have not only failed to help me with my preparation but also, disturbed me immensely during my preparation process. Again, i expect you to reimburse me late by 19 Nov 16 or i will take this issue to the concern Govt. authorities till i get Justice.

    As usually my Hathway Internet is not working.You did such a great maintenance work during Diwali’s 4 days outage from 30th October to 4th November that my nicely working internet stopped working.

    I am now sick and tired of calling your so called customer Care executives who are best at fooling their customers.I called thrice yesterday and got to see 3 different dramas:

    Some how I got through the call as your CC numbers are merely numbers and you apply a trick on it that customer listens “Number is busy” everytime someone calls you.Called them thrice and all 3 times they gave me lame excuses.3rd one assured me that it’s again an outage in my area,he confidently said me to ask any of my friend nearby who is using Hathway ,they’ll say the same.But reality is different my Hathway user friends are saying that they haven’t faced any such issue.He assured me that it will be resolved by midnight but it is still not working.

    I was happy with Airtel for 8 and a half year as it never went down more that twice during that period but just for sake of some more bandwidth I had opted this plan of yours.Whenever there was even any minor problem Airtel always fixed it in 1 hour or so and always followed up with me.It was my biggest mistake to leave Airtel for you.I am taking online classes which run on high speed internet.How can I attend them when there is no internet at all now and even when it was there it was intermittent.

    Upon this your Delhi’s so called Customer Care number is as usually unreachable always.No one cares to pick it as if all is well with your services.I had paid 3 months subscription in advance in a hope that I’ll get good service but in just one month your reality got exposed.

    I am bearing a huge loss of my classes just because of you and it is clear that when the purpose for which I had opted your plan is not getting fulfilled,then what’s the point paying for it.My Bill due date is 18th December and I am not going to pay it.Then don’t call me to continue or to retain me.I’ll also spread the word about the pathetic service of yours in my vicinity.

    I know I am banging my head on stones because you don’t care for your customers,but if a little iota of professional sense is left in you then reply to this mail with some concrete solution and not a fake promise that you have been doing since beginning. I can wait until 1 PM today,after that I’ll call Airtel and for your information they take 4 hours to activate their uninterrupted services.Also my old Airtel wiring and router setup is intact.They just need to start it from their centre only.So it’s not a hassle for me at all.

    I am Jaspal Singh a user of your hathway internet services customer ID 1107710334, due to some disturbance in current location we were shifted to new location (addresses are mentioned below) which is hardly 200 miters of distance from current location and informed to customer services of hathway internet on 02-Nov-2016 but till date nothing happens, we got the confirmation that you guys doesn’t have access in our new location, even though I approached for alternative then your team member took an request for the reversal of pending amount but since two days I did not received any call from your accounts/admin department.
    My concern is not to refund the amount I want services not the money, if you don’t have access in our new location then please refund the amount asap.

  17. I am Hathaway broadband internet user from last 3.5 years, Id is 966454. I have shifted from Sector 20 , Noida to Sector-50, Noida.
    I requested to shift my internet on 22nd October, 2016 at Hathaway customer care services and was informed that it will be shifted in 3-5 days.
    It’s been more than 2 months now and my internet connection is still not available at my current residence. I have been calling customer care and they are asking to contact billing team and now they are saying that the internet connection cannot be shifted to the new location. I have sent this email to the billing team multiple times but haven’t received any response yet.

    With Reference to above complaint which is still unresolved , Reason provided by visiting Person Mr Sagar (9619364885) . The wire from outside the premises (i.e Junction box of Hathway Till Our Premises is Faulty .
    Required to be Laid by Our Electrician at our Responsibility. he also said , if you buy new connection , we would do free installation .

    Just within a Hour a representative from hathway for new connection visited our office for new connection

    With generic logic any cable Coming from outside the premises till our Premises . hathway is responsible to lay new wire as internet service is affected since last 24 hours .

    we Request you to Consider this matter on high priority what is going on within department !

    I have paid 1500 rupees for new connection on Wednesday 28th December 2016 at 8:00 pm . Raghu jallapeli your agent who provide internet connection services took money and documents and told me to set up my connection on Thursday 29th December 2016. Now he is not picking my phone and his phone is switched off.
